Why give?
Most of the rest of this site will help answer "Why Wycliffe?". Elsewhere we talk about the fruit of our work: the people whose lives have been changed by having access to the Bible in their own language.
We also talk a lot about the "branches" producing and "trunk" supporting the branches: the many workers who help to produce that fruit.
But no tree produces fruit without the roots that supply the nutrients. Those that give and pray ensure that the work of Bible translation flourishes.
The vast majority of people working with Wycliffe are funded by churches and individuals who believe in the value of the work that they do. Two further sections explain this further.
