Check IT Out

Check IT Out is a one day event to explore how IT and computing roles contribute to Bible translation. The last event was in February 2011, and we currently have no plans to run Check IT Out in the near future. However, do, read on here and find out more about IT in Bible translation.

Bible translation is all about partnership. At every stage of the partnership, computers and IT are involved to some extent, whether that is through email and other forms of online communication, linguistic and translation software, web publishing or any number of other functions.

All of these things make IT and computing skills a crucial factor in the Bible translation movement, the lack of which can grind translation projects to a halt.

If you'd like the chance to chat with some staff to have your questions answered, you might like to consider joining us on a Wycliffe and Me day, or for a full week at the Window on Wycliffe course (WOW). Both are great ways to find out more about what God is doing through Bible translation, and how you can be involved.
