First Steps
A day for discovering the world of Bible translation
First Steps is a one-day event running across the United Kingdom.
When and Where:
12 October, Scotland
23 November, Gloucester
Please register your interest using the registration form, and we will let you know of venues as they are confirmed.
We will start at 10am with coffee and finish at 4.30pm with worship and prayer. There is no cost but we ask that you bring lunch with you. If you come along, feel free to bring a friend from your church!
You might be asking the following questions: How do I take my first step to being involved? Can I be part of something exciting but stay in UK? How do I know if I have the right skill set? How do I know if I’ve been called by God? What sort of mission service is going to make the greatest impact?
If you are asking any of these questions, First Steps is for you. These events are informative, inspiring, interactive, fast-paced and punchy. We trust they will provide you with what you need to make your first steps. At the end of the day, we promise you will know more about the amazing difference that access to Scripture in the heart language and in a medium that is most suitable can have right round the world.
The time we have together will be limited, so we will focus on presenting information tailored to the preferences you indicate on the registration form.
