Matching skills to short-term needs — 6 weeks to 2 years
| Non-language Roles are any support roles that don't require specific language skills to function in the role, like IT, finance, teaching, or logistcs, to name a few. |
Don’t think that you have to be a linguist to work with Wycliffe. You may have some other very valuable skills to volunteer. One-to-One seeks to match people's specific skills to non-language related needs across the world. Opportunities range from developing software to helping with childcare, from teaching to administration and finance. Whatever your skills, training or experience, there is probably a place where they can be used in the wider work of Bible translation and literacy.
You will be challenged and stretched as you serve God and assist team members to do their jobs, either in a village location or an urban setting. Experience life in a very different culture. Grow in your relationship with God. Make a difference!
