Words for Life - The Wycliffe Magazine
The Bible: the Story everybody needs (2010/1)
I’m really excited to be introducing the new look Words for
Life to you.
Those of you who have been supporting Wycliffe Bible
Translators for a while may have noticed the changes that have
taken place over the last few months. We now have a new
logo, a new website and now this new, restyled, Words for Life.
These are just a few of the steps we have taken to improve the
way that we communicate the need for Bible translation to the
Church in the UK.
But, whether you are new to Wycliffe or a long-standing
supporter, what hasn’t changed is our determination to make
sure everyone has the opportunity to hear God’s word in the
language that they understand the best. We’ve even gone so
far as to put this ambition into writing, with the statement
that’s on the cover of this magazine, ‘The Bible: the Story
everybody needs’.
I hope you enjoy this edition of Words for Life. If you have
any comments or questions, please feel free to get in touch,
it would be great to hear from you.
