Six New Testaments being printed!
Six people groups in Papua New Guinea (PNG) will soon be receiving God's Word in their language for the first time. The Folopa, Kobon, Kein, Dedua, Tabo Aramia and Tabo Fly New Testaments are now in Korea being printed. The printing process takes about five months from the time the camera ready copy is sent via airmail to Korea until the finished product is ready. Depending on shipping schedules, transportation back to PNG may take another three months.
Once the New Testaments arrive in PNG, to get them into the hands of the people they must be safely transported to the villages by boat or plane. The entire printing and shipping process takes around ten months.
If you'd like to pray for this process:
- Ask God to watch over and protect the translated Word as it makes its way to the people in PNG.
- Pray that the printing process will go smoothly resulting in a quality product.
- Pray that the finished Bibles will be shipped promptly and that the ship will be in good working order with a safe and timely arrival in PNG.
- Pray for speedy customs clearance for all of the New Testaments and safe transport to the villages.
- Pray that the speakers of the Folopa, Kobon, Kein, Dedua, Tabo Aramia and Tabo Fly languages will be drawn into closer fellowship with their Creator as they receive the living and active Word.
