Bantu Initiative - Computer adaptation
The Bantu Initiative is hosting a Computer Adaptation Seminar from 4 – 7 April in Kenya. Representatives from all of the partners involved will be present. This will be an important time for training and informing the partnership on the use of computer adaptation for translation. Example of Computer Adaptation.
Please pray for safety for the representatives that will be attending from the United Bible Society, The Bible Societies of Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania, Pioneer Bible Translators, Bible Translation and Literacy – Kenya, The Seed Company, and various Wycliffe related translation entities (Cameroon, Central Africa Group, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique) and the Bantu Department.
Please pray the Bantu Departement team will clearly present the material, and that the participants will leave with an understanding of how this tool can assist them in their work in getting the Scriptures to the bibleless Bantu speakers across sub-Saharan Africa.
