Bible Translation and Literacy (BTL)* in Kenya will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. "We praise God for His blessings and achievements," writes Mundara Muturi, BTL director.
New Testaments published -- and being well used -- include Sabaot, Duruma, Tharaka, Giryama and Pokomo. Progress continues in Digo and Endo.
BTL recently started a new"cluster project"** in the Samburu and Ilchamus languages and workers are
preparing to translate the Old Testament into Tharaka.
Pray the Kenyan church will recognize Bible translation as an important part of missions and become involved by sending people and financial support.
