Clear understanding of baptism
South America. Even before the Gospel came, a people group here had a legend of two forking paths - a wide path leading to destruction and a narrow path to the house of the good spirits.
Before being baptized recently, a young Christian took a hoe and drew 2 paths in the sand. The wide one went parallel to the river; the narrow one to the water's edge.
He walked down the path, stopped at the fork, chose the narrow road and was baptized.
Praise God for this step of growth and that, spontaneously, three others who had been watching stood up and asked to be baptized as well.
