Helping Members on Low Support
Sometimes financial support doesn't come as expected and the Wycliffe UK member is left with a shortfall. To help cover such gaps, Wycliffe UK has a fund known as the Supplementary Fund. Each month, the money in this fund is distributed to members whose financial support has fallen below a set proportion of their cost of living requirements. This fund is not a long-term solution. It is a safeguard, allowing members to keep on with their work until other people are found to join their support team.
Some members who are currently low on support are profiled on the Members page, and you may wish to find out more about supporting them directly. You can also contribute more generally to the Supplementary Fund by giving to Wycliffe UK via cheque or standing order, and including a note that your gift is for the fund, or securely online by selecting "For members on low support " from the drop-down menu options.
