Wycliffe Bible Translators is looking for a Response Centre Team Leader to join our Response Centre Team in our High Wycombe office. This page contains all the information you need to apply for this role.
1.5 billion people are still waiting
For over 60 years, we’ve been pioneering and innovating; working alongside communities big and small, creating partnerships, and training local people to translate the Bible.
Today, Wycliffe Bible Translators is engaged with 326 minority language groups around the world that make up 469 million people, but globally, 1.5 billion people are still waiting for the complete Bible in the language they understand best.
The Response Centre Team Leader will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Response Centre, which serves as a first point of contact between members of the public and the various departments within Wycliffe Bible Translators.
The Response Centre Team maintains and strengthens the relationships between supporters and Wycliffe by processing and acknowledging donations, providing materials, and responding to enquiries about giving, personnel, service opportunities and overseas projects.
The Team Leader will also take responsibility for the team of 3 f/t and 3 p/t staff members.
We hope that you will find the information in the attached documents below helpful and clear. If Wycliffe’s vision is a cause you can champion and the position fits with your skills, values and experience, then we would love to hear from you.
If an informal conversation about the role would help, please email Bryony Lines (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange one. Your application should include:
- A covering letter, of no more than two pages in total, summarising your reasons for applying and explaining your ability to fulfil the Aims of the Role and meet the Person Specification.
- A completed Candidate Information Form.
- A full CV, including educational qualifications and full employment history, with a particular focus on experience and skills relevant to this role.
Your application should be sent to Bryony Lines (email@example.com) by 9am on Monday 5th November. All applications will be treated as confidential.
Should you be shortlisted we will invite you for an interview in the week commencing 12th November at the offices of Wycliffe Bible Translators in central High Wycombe.
Thank you for considering this role and please join us in prayer as we seek God’s wisdom in appointing the right candidate for this post.
