Experience God’s heart for Bible translation

Experience is ideal for students and recent graduates looking to learn, grow and hear from God as they consider a role in Bible translation. We’ll study God’s desire for all people to know him and share some of the incredible ways God is accomplishing his plans through Bible translation.

What should I expect?

We’ll stay in beautiful Schloss Klaus – an Austrian castle overlooking the lake and valleys east of Salzburg. In the mornings, we spend time in worship and prayer, and learn about the mission of God through the book of Acts. This is followed by teaching where we’ll open your eyes to the life-changing work of Bible translation. We’ll share the ways in which the skills and knowledge from your degree can aid the translation and accessibility of the Bible for language communities around the world.

Throughout Experience you’ll hear stories and get to talk with a range of Wycliffe members as they share how God has used them to bring God’s word to language communities around the world. In the afternoons we relax, explore and sunbathe! Meals together finish off the day, with plenty of opportunities to get to know each other and find out more in a chilled environment. Part Bible translation eye-opener, part spiritual retreat; there’s nothing quite like it.
