1.5 billion people are still waiting for the Bible in their language

It’s time to change this

Bible poverty is real. Right now, one in five people worldwide still can’t read the Bible in their own language.

With your help, we can put an end to this injustice. Together, we can give everyone the chance to read, hear and respond to God’s word. You can be part of the change.

Ugandan Jackie Kibuka, a teacher in a local school, has longed to share Bible stories with her Lugwere-speaking students. The Lugwere New Testament was finally launched earlier this year, and Jackie broke down in tears when she received her very own copy after many years of waiting. Reading it, she couldn’t believe the power of God’s word in her own language.

Together we can end Bible poverty

While the task ahead is huge, we are determined to meet this urgent challenge. Together with supporters like you, we can play our part in what God is doing to correct this injustice, and make the Bible available in the language of every person who is stilll waiting.

Please play a part in making the Bible accessible to people like Jackie.
