‘The legacy I will leave behind... is God’s word in Lunyole, which I had a hand in translating. It will be my joy to see people’s lives being transformed for God’s glory through reading God’s word.’
Gesa Aristarchus
Lunyole Bible Translator, Uganda
Leave a lasting legacy
A gift in a Will is so much more than money. It is an expression of thanks to God for blessing us during our lifetime.
‘I am delighted to leave Wycliffe a legacy in my Will. There is nothing as foundational, or as important, in world mission today as giving people access to the Bible – everything else is built on that. The day I go to glory will probably be the time in my life when I have the most to give and the least need of it. So it was an easy choice!’
Anna Bishop

Your Will can be an expression of everything that matters to you, reflecting your priorities and passions. You can use it to enable the kingdom of God to grow here on earth in anticipation of Christ’s return.
We deeply appreciate you considering leaving a gift to Wycliffe in your Will. Through it you will enable more people to come to know Jesus through reading and hearing the good news in the language that speaks to them best.
This is not just for the next generation, but for generations to come.
Michael’s story
Wycliffe supporter Michael made the decision to leave a gift in his Will, and wanted to share his inspiration in the hope that it would inspire others to do the same.
You can read his story here.
‘Everyone, wherever they live, whatever language they speak, deserves the chance to know the truths of the Bible for themselves. I want part of my legacy to be that people who don’t yet know the truths of the Bible will come to know them.’
