You don’t need to be a translation expert to join the team
In any language project a vast number of different people with different skills are required. Find out more about the life of a language project to see how these different roles come together to make project work. Whatever your skills and interests, there is a part for you to play.
As you explore your place in God’s mission, you’re embarking on quite a journey. This will involve conversations with your local church leaders, and cross cultural training at the Centre for Linguistics, Translation and Literacy. What about fundraising? Whilst some roles are salaried, most are funded through personal support. Raising funds is an important step in the adventure – you’ll trust God to bring supporters alongside you to pray and give. If you have any questions about your next steps, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Don't feel called to live overseas?
Consider volunteering. You could give your time and skills in one of our UK offices to help the work run smoothly, or reach out to local churches sharing what God is doing through Bible translation.
